 Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

I have windows 7 64bit home edition.

I tired a few hour installing the driver for arduino. I kept getting the attached error. Has anyone seen such problem?

Any suggestion to fix this problem?

I don't know if this is a operating system problem or the hardware problem.

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

What did you try?
I'd suggest uninstalling/re-installing, if you did a manual install

the problem seems to be computer specific, I have tried to uninstall/reinstall the driver, same problem.

The driver can be installed well on my other xp machine.

I fixed it by deleting the UpperFilters for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E978-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
