I'm looking for up-down-left-right switch set. Something like either one of these examples:



Anyone got a source for something like this? I've looked all over the place but can't find anything that I like.

Search "membrane keypad" on ebay.  Lots of weird and esoteric keypad choices.  Most are row/column addressable like your basic 4x4.  Check out some of the ones I found.  You may be interested in the top one:
