I don't think you connected the grounds, Dave.

Curse you!
Why didn't I know about this before I bought my Vyper Air?

Any plans for air integration?

you know it will be cool to add the air integration.

the company that make the sensor i am using for the depth pressure might also manufacture one for the high pressure.. it will be a good think smiley

Wow this is really cool!
I have a question, It looks like the board is encased in plastic with some hex screws closing it.  Is there some sort of seal in there?

Also, it seems that the display is updating slowly.  Is this the cameras doing or some design issue?

No, the box is far too small to contain any of the pinnipeds.

It probably has a gasket.

He does not explain what box he used but changed from an earlier adafruit one. perhaps he will say
Are you going to release any code?
Not to detract from this achievment but a better choice of large font might help ..I could read the small font in the videos but the large was fuzzy

I feel like this could be made a lot smaller if there was a custom board made for this and just the parts from each piece were bought individually.
I'd be game to make the board if he wants.

it was a camera issue that's why you see the flickering,

Actually the board is in progress, i just finish the first design of the board, i am waiting for the samples to make it smaller. i would like to pack it as close as i can. but i just want you to be able to use stock parts from sparkfun or adafruit.

The box i am using, was machined on plastic call nylamid, it has a groove for an oring to avoid water penetration. the clear top is made from lexan, that press the oring...

i am planing on doing a better housing design, right now it was just a quick prototype for my upcoming trip that it should be today, but weather might cancel it, just waiting on captains cal..www.flingcharters.com

on this trip i will test it to 100 feet....

i also added a reed switch to turn it on lol

You should add a reward for like $5 so that people can receive development updates and such, along with the $1 reward.
Don't forget to post this in scuba forums or w/e where people would be interested.

Yea, the board design would be better I think than the code.

The gap between $25 and $150 is a bit large.  See if you can come up with 3 more things for the $50, $75, and $100.
Remember you aren't trying to make any money on the rewards, its with the left over DiveDuinos that you sell that you'd make any money on.  Your rewards are usually just break-even things.
