Basically I am building a robot with a wireless LAN router on it. The robot will be controlled via laptop through Xbee and WIFI. I would like to play music from the laptop and send it wirelessly to the robot's speakers.

How can I go about doing this I am stumped.

thats not a bad Idea. What would be the range on that and could you recommend any?

here's a range extender for a common bt module.
