Topic: Leonardo Init Sequence (Read 1 time) previous topic - next topic

Hi all

I just bought an Arduino Leonardo and I noticed that on each power up/reset, there is a short blinking sequence on the debug LED (13).
This annoys me a bit and I'd really like to remove it from the boot sequence.
Unfortunately I cannot find where this sequence is located in the Arduino core files.
Hopefully it is not ran by the bootloader as I don't have programmer available to burn a modified version...

Could you please indicate me what's its use and where can I find this sequence?
Thanks very much.

It IS in the bootloader.  You can find the Leonardo bootloader sources in:

OK thanks.
How was the timeout period defined? How long does it takes to configure CDC and USB?

Thanks again.

That's well outside my area of experience.  Perhaps if you read the bootloader sources you can find that information.
