I'm going on a camping trip, and I want to mod my jacket so it is built for camping. Its actually quite cool, I have a lilypad in there and heatpads, and LEDS. But I digress, I need to know how to hook up a GPS to my lilypad or Arduino. I just want to get my altitude and some other information outputted into a LCD in my sleeve.

Pick one. Look at its documentation. Generally, they seem to be serial devices, but until we know which one you want to use, it's hard to be specific.
