I found this product at the link below and am confused as to what it outputs. I am familiar with a standard PIR motion sensors. I was wondering if this sensor could be used for a temperature sensor.

An infrared sensor is always some kind of temperature sensor but if you wanna have a sensor to get some degree Celsius or Fahrenheit this is not the kind of sensor you should buy.

PIR sensors are normally used on a pcb along with a wide-field fresnel lenses,
and respond to "moving" heat sources, like a walking human. There is
probably something similar to a G18937 insude this:
