hey i am doing a project based on digital sphygmomanometer interfaced with an android based smart phone and i dont have much idea abt arduino...so could u plz kindly suggest me one suitable for my project..

It's a blood pressure meter.

As for the original question, I suppose the arduino ADK would be the one to buy since its designed from the ground up as 'interfaceable' with android phones.

Only if you specifically want a wired usb connection. If you want a wireless connection of some sort, then you don't really need an ADK board.

You can purchase a bluetooth bee to make arduino talk to your android system. It's as easy as serial monitor, but I suppose you don't know enough arduino to know what that is. But it is easy.
