Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

Hi

(My first post to this forum!)

I have been successfully using Arduino Unos fpr quite some time with my old laptop running Windows Vista.  However, have just got a new laptop running Windows 8 and am having trouble getting connected.

1.  The IDE does not show any COM ports.
2.  In Device Manager, the Uno shows up under "other devices"  but with "drivers not installed (code 28)".
3.  I have manually pointed to the drivers folder in the Arduino folder.  The wizard then says that drivers were found but could not be installed because "the third party INF does not contain digital signature information".

At this point, I do not know where to go.  any thoughts?

Many thanks dxw00d.  That worked perfectly (although I had to amend the command to exclude the last two switches).
