Solid state relay

Hi:
I am driving a solid state relay, Crydom #D2W202F 3-32VDC, with an out put pin 7 Arduino Uno. Problem is that when the output goes low, 0 VDC, the relay stays on? Any ideas?
Thanks,
Bela

I have been doing some reading that tells me that a SSR that is designed for AC loads will not switch off when running a DC load. I have an AC output relay. Can a resistor or capacitor be used to force the relay to shut off? Thanks.

No.

Any reason a standard mechanical relay will not do?

.

Or you can get a SSR designed to switch DC.

Thanks, had this one already and thought I would use it. Will go and find a stadard relay tomorrow.

Be sure to get everything required:
