I want to get a little more speed out of my arduino Uno/Mega. I want to change out the 16MHz crystals with 32 or 64 MHz, is this ok to do OR will I have problems?
Has anyone tried this before and gotten good results?
I few have gone to a 20 Mhz crystal and of course had no problems and a few have played around with 'overclocking' above the AVR's 20 Mhz rating. Keep in mind that you will have to deal with recompiling the bootloader so that the IDE can function with a corrected baud rate unless you limit uploading via ICS programmers.
