Topic: Wiring two A4988 Drivers to 1 Arduino board (Read 846 times) previous topic - next topic

Hi all,

Has anyone had any success with connecting two A4988 boards to a single arduino board? If so, any guides as per how to do it?

It's so easy that I don't understand your question. Each board just needs a connection for step and direction. The Pololu page shows the wiring diagram that I use. http://www.pololu.com/product/1182

Two or three hours spent thinking and reading documentation solves most programming problems.

You can even share the direction pins if you want to save a pin - so long as you don't
step both A4988's simultaneously.  The direction pin is only sampled when the step
pin has a rising edge.
