I'd also say that both the Arduino team and the mpide folks need to start workingon better separating the IDE from the toolsets and cores.
Just one question, did you find a way to do a verbose build with mpide, so you could watch the downlond in progress?
Again, thanks for your reply. I have a rather large program for my robot on the Duemilanove where I ran out of program/RAM space that I want to transfer to a larger cpu.
Have you seen the new pic32 parts in 28 pin dips?
Isn't there some kind of 16 bit mode (MIPS16e) in the pic32?
• MIPS16e® code compression- 16-bit encoding of 32-bit instructions to improve code density- Special PC-relative instructions for efficient loading of addresses and constants- SAVE and RESTORE macro instructions for setting up and tearing down stack frames within subroutines- Improved support for handling 8 and 16-bit data types
Hi Chris, Bill (westfw) just gave a link to your page on the other current Uno32thread. Your blog pages look good, l was just reading through them lastnight. I think you may have Dat and Clk swapped on the ICSP header.
