Hi

I wanna work with arduino fio board to drive my 3 servos via Xbee. I have a question though. does the board have an antenna for the xbee on? my application is under water so I wanna know if the xbee is able to work underwater.

Xbee or any VHF/UHF wireless I understand is poor under water, you might have to try ultrasonic.  As AWOL asks, how deep ?

there are some pretty powerful 40 KHz transducers available ( for ultra sonic cleaning tanks ) and small ones for security applications that you could use for a receiver.

The board will be in a waterproof package and it will not go deep underwater. let's say 10 cm average. does the xbee on chip antenna work in this case?
