Hi All Arduino lovers

I need a door lock/unlock system controlled through arduino. How can i do that? Dealing with classic doors will be a headache. So i think i need to change the type of the door. Can it be like the elevator doors which are electronically controlled? I don't know about the electronic doors so i need an advice.
