Topic: Downloading/Installing Libraries? (Read 85 times) previous topic - next topic

I'm relatively new to the Arduino but not to programming. I've just finished working my way through Vilros starter kit and had a blast building and testing all the examples. This is an amazing little board and gives a coder like me a very reasonable learning curve into embedded software.  :smiley-grin:

I'm now wanting to drive the LCD display that came with my kit. I've located the LDC libraries but it isn't clear how to download the libraries themselves. I can copy the code easily enough but that doesn't give me the .h file, .cpp files, etc. I'm also not sure where to install the libraries once I've downloaded them. I'm using a Mac with OS 10.7.5 and version 1.6.0 of the Arduino IDE.
