Has anyone used a headphone male jack for SMD? Currently I am using just a regular headphone male connector and soldering it to two pads on both sides of the pcb but its not the most structurally stable. Does anyone know of a good headphone stereo/mono male plug that is designed for SMD projects? How do products like the square do it?

I found this part http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/562429941/3_5mm_4_pole_plug_headphone.html
but you have to buy them in huge quantities... anything that I can buy off of digikey or anything like that? It seems like its not a common part.

I don't see any.  Get a female and put in a male-male plug.
