Hi,

I am building a prop and I am very comfortable with the working of the mechanical functions but have no experience with sound. I am willing to learn and do tutorials but I would like some help with just knowing where to start. I want to reproduce the sound effect heard in this clip : http://youtu.be/tsMET80AiWM. Is this something I would have to play as an mp3 or could i generate the sound with the Arduino?

You can use an Arduino to trigger a number of different sounds.
