WAIT, did you test it first? Just because I don't see anything wrong with it, does not mean there is nothing wrong. You always need to test and re-test first, before you make a board.

I'd be e bit worried about the current-sourcing ability of the '595s, they really aren't designed to drive LED statically and if you're multiplexing you need more current than usual. IIRC they can source maybe 6-7mA, check it out.
You may find the LEDs won't be bright enough.

I have the Darlington Arrays For sinking the rows, it's sourcing the columns I'm on about. You know there are single chips that do this and more, for example the AS1130. _____ Rob
