Please keep us informed of your progress. I am very interested as I am tackling such a project myself.

I have a 2900 series Motorola Bag phone which I want to modify for GSM. I plan to "decode" the multiplexed three wire data bus to be able to manipulate the handset without modifying it.

Have you seen this project ?

I'm taking a little break from electronics right now, but intend to finish it later on, seeing i'm already this close to finishing.
