Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

I am new to the micro controller scene and wanted some advice on which starter kit to buy. I know questions like these must have been answered many times so i'll be more specific.

I almost decided to buy the arduino starter kit http://arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoStarterKit#.Uxu0bvldWbM but realized that it might not be able to connect to the internet. Do we have any starter kits with an Arduino Ethernet that can connect to the internet? Or is there any extra component i can buy with the arduino starter kit (Arduino UNO board rev.3) to allow it to connect to the internet?

You need to buy the Ethernet shield.

http://arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoEthernetShield#.Ux5k2_ldViY

It sits on top of the Arduino.
