What is the most amperage a standard 6v lantern battery can output at any given time?

You really have to goggle around for a datasheet or product description (some are alkaline, some the older carbon zink types) to find that out, but I suspect several amps would be no sweat for one.

As for goggleing it, I'm not sure what to look for (the label got torn off a while back). All I know is that its from the company Eveready.
