I need to use the 5volt pin for a dickson charge pump, every time I plug into the board it shuts off...Can some help me?

Show us your circuit, how you wired up the dickson charge pump?

Sounds like the gharge pump is drawing too much current for the arduino (or pc if usb powered) to handle. You probably need a seperate power supply for the charge pump.

I hooked up a different power supply...The board is working but the pump is not..

That's still good advice..... Nobody can help if they don't know what you've done. Also post your code.... Edit: Assuming there is code- were you just using the Arduino 5v as your "battery"?
