Let me guess, the name begins with Paul and ends in S?
I think you should ask for a raise. You've been working too hard!

Well done PaulS, but I know you want to be the first one to go over 32767 to see if the counter is a signed or unsigned int

It just means Grumpy_Mike will have to post much faster. Lets see, the members with at least 10,000 posts are: | PaulS | 30,298 | | Grumpy_Mike | 23,182 | | AWOL | 16,650 | | CrossRoads | 14,002 | | leo72 | 13,489 | | uwefed | 13,489 | | retrolefty | 13,031 | | Nick Gammon | 11,257 |
I'm somewhere around #134 with 825 posts. It will take 175 more posts to get to the Edison level, and then it becomes much harder to get to Tesla....

Yes, well done Paul
Another aspect to the numbers of posts, is that all you guys up there with the thousands of posts, have been helping newbies like me, whereas I am nearly at 1k posts, 95 % of which are " whats wrong with my sketch / thinking " etc.
I will help a newbie where I can, in areas that I know about, but thats mainly general electronics.
So I think that when I get to 1000 posts, I should become a "uber newbie" status, or something like that ?
Although I do know more about micros than Edison ever did :-)
Thanks to all of you guys at the top for helping this old fart get into microprocessors at last !

Your contributions have already been great. Where else would I have learned about being able to buy reversed polarity LEDs? Lefty
