Identifying the frequency of a sound?
Jan 06, 2013, 03:39 pm
Hello,
Is there software out there that can identify the frequency of a sound? I am trying to determine the beginning and ending frequency of the sound of a camera flash charging so I can replicate/control it along with other sound effects for a project I am working on. The sound is here:

.
Thanks

http://www.sonicvisualiser.org/.
Then do layers->transform. Hover over the bits you are interested in, and the text in the small box will show the freq bin.
