Hi,

any effort on the way to implement a <REAL> USART class?

I want a really unblocking, interrupt controlled implementation using at least a per byte, better a peripherial DMA implementation. I don't dig to deep in the SAM3X specification yet, but there must be some really better implementation of the simple problem to throw out some serial bytes.

Just a question, because it's really no fun to use this so called Arduino-IDE (a pain in the a** by my definition) to do some  more sophisticated software development.

I really like to use this DUE thingy for my home grown projects, but there a so many construction areas, I don't see enough time on my side to make it right.

Thx,
Knut
