Topic: Arduino <-> Arduino wired comunication (Read 646 times) previous topic - next topic

i'm new to arduino and i'm trying to create an arduino to arduino wired comunication.
The problem is that for my project the two arduinos are 100 meters one from the other...

There is a way to comunicate each other?

Sure, use twisted wire, like Cat5 cable and RS-485.
That is an easy and very common way using serial communication.
Which Arduino boards are you using ?
Hello, I don't get notified of new posts after the forum update. When you need my help, try sending me a PM; yell very loud; knock on my door; whatever is needed.

Is the wire already in place? If so, then you could start experimenting with various communication methods to see which work. what communication speed do you need? The simplest would probably be TTL serial, followed by rs232 serial.
Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that, I'll be over here, looking through your stuff.   8)
