Topic: Arduino <-> Arduino wired comunication (Read 649 times) previous topic - next topic

i'm new to arduino and i'm trying to create an arduino to arduino wired comunication.
The problem is that for my project the two arduinos are 100 meters one from the other...

There is a way to comunicate each other?

Sure, use twisted wire, like Cat5 cable and RS-485.
That is an easy and very common way using serial communication.
Which Arduino boards are you using ?
Octal is 7 bits. Octet is 8 bits. An Octopus has four pairs of arms. October is the tenth month. An Octillion can be 10^27 or 10^48. An Octave is the interval between notes of half or twice the frequency. And last but not least: Octyl on its own is not really something.

Is the wire already in place? If so, then you could start experimenting with various communication methods to see which work. what communication speed do you need? The simplest would probably be TTL serial, followed by rs232 serial.
Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that, I'll be over here, looking through your stuff.   8)
