Hello :)
I would like to read the input voltage into a DC motor using Matlab. I'm new using ARDUINO with the MOTOR shield.
I hope there is someone who can help me with this.
Thank you.

Here's an item on MathWorks File Exchange -- you'll find a package with a guide that explains, in a step-by-step fashion, how to develop device driver blocks (blocks that perform target-specific functions when executed on a target platform). There are examples for a DC motor and a stepper motor, both with the Arduino AF Motor Shield.

General info re. using Arduino with MATLAB and Simulink is at http://www.mathworks.com/arduino

As the arduino can only read up to a maximum of 5V you will also need to put a potential divider between the DC motor and the arduino.

Thank you guys for your responses :)) I'm going to work on it.
