Does anyone know how to find the codes for IR remote controls. I have tried using the IRremote library, but only one of my remote controls are compatible. How do I add/find code for my others?

In the IRremote library, try the IRrecvDemo in the examples.  It will tell you what type of remote code you're generating with your remote.

Are you trying to emulate an existing remote?  If so you could record and send the raw pulse lengths.

The IRrecord example shows how to record raw signals.

irsend.sendRaw(rawbuf, rawlen, frequency); will play back the signal.

The demo program gives the same result a my code. No matter what button I press on one remote, I get 0 and other remotes give nothing. From looking at the library it seems that the remote isn't one of the types in the library. I would like to add it, but I don't know where to get the parameters.

The IRtest example should display the raw data.  If it does not your remote may be using a carrier frequency outside the range of your receiver.
