Ok, an ideal Esplora test program would write to a Processing or Serial monitor.  But that requires alot of work and would not be pretty.

So grab an Adafruit 1.8" TFT LCD display breakout (not the shield, breakout - at http://adafruit.com/products/358)  Solder header in the holes and plug into the Esplora on the right side black header pins on Esplora.  Download EsploraTest.ino from Github at https://github.com/TheKitty/EsploraApps

It is a great demo of all the Esplora library calls.
