This is the bare LED part of a star LED like this one:

Is this a standard design? If so does anyone have an Eagle library for it?

Thanks as always.

LED's come in all kinds of shapes and sizes, all you need to worry about is the Current and Voltage of the LED.

Well...voltage and current are important, but if you're making a circuit board I find a physical design footprint comes in handy as well.

yea that might be handy + many of those have heat slugs under them which also need to be connected

If you don't get an answer by sometime tomorrow, we use a UV led at work that has that layout, least get you a datasheet with pad info in it and you can make your own

It looks like the Eagle Library 'LED' has the part F50380 which is similar.

If found the part documented in a PDF at http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/2434.pdf which has the specs for the footprint. It should be enough to get me started.

Thanks to all for your help.
