Topic: configuring HC-04 Bluetooth modem with arduino!!!! (Read 1 time) previous topic - next topic

I am using a HC-04 bluetooth modem with arduino.
The led of bt modem remains on whenever I give it +5v and GND.
The led never blinks whenever  I try it to pair it with my pc bluetooth.

Is there any to check the modem is ok or not.??
Its doesn't give any response to arduino.
I was trying to configure the HC-04 bluetooth modem by reading from this forum.

You need to say how you have wired it up.
Do you get a responce from it when you send it AT commands?
Have you tried swapping the TX and RX lines.

I am connecting the Rx of bluetooth modem to  pin 3 of arduino
Tx to pin 2.

and using the code in http://arduino.cc/hu/Reference/SoftwareSerial but that's not working
i have kept the baud rate 9600

Can you post the exact code you are using as you will have had to make changes to that code to at least change the pins and what you send.
