I want to buy an Arduino board. I have two options: Uno or Leonardo.

What I need? Just two things:

1-. I need to connect a WT32 bluetooth module via serial to an Arduino board.

2-. I need to connect a WT32 bluetooth module via serial to my macbook with ZTerm, using the Arduino board like a FT232RL (virtual com port).

That's it. Can anyone tell me what is the best choice?? What I need to do the things that I need??

I'll apreciate your help!! :D

Thanks!

either will do what you want, I would stay with the uno just cause its basic design is the original classic and everything seems to be made for it.

the leo has more possibilities in the USB department, but its a different chip from the classic mega8/168/328 that arduino has been using for years now

Don't get the leo!!! It's SMD! That means if you destroy the chip it's pretty much irreplaceble! I got the expensive mega, and I've ruined it! And I can't replace the chip!
What is man's best friend? The breadboard!

I have everything much clear now..

Again, thank!!

That's a good point. Beginners should get UNO.

Also with the uno you can take the atmega out rather than dedicating your entire arduino board to a project.
