Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

I plugged it into the windows box i have and when connected to the programming port it doesn't do anything and when I plug in the native one, windows complains about the USB device having an issue.

I've just ordered the black magic probe to see if i can recover the device, if not I will send it back for replacement.

I'll keep this thread updated for the resolution.

Thanks,
Greg

Or you might consider starting a new thread with the resolution since it really has nothing to do with the original poster's topic.

No, you don't have the same problem.  The due doesn't haven't an atmega168.

You likely have a board at uses a FTDI chip and so you need to install FTDI drivers.

PWR light is green 13 red is blinking...
Red... So it isn't an Arduino.

it is a CB from Arduino.

green PWR-light is on / the light "13" is blinking

all is from a Arduino starter box,

as usual all this s+++t starts with frustration instead of fun smiley-lol

This thread was about the Arduino Due which runs an ARM chip. The one you have uses an ATMega chip. They use different chips for the serial ports.

I'd suggest starting a new thread for you question.

What is a CB?

You said red, but I think the LED is actually Amber.  Cheaply made clones use actual Red LEDs (because they are cheaper.)

all is from a Arduino starter box
Then the chip can't be a ATmega168.

As Greg points out and as I did, your issue has nothing to do with this thread.  You have a similar issue, but not the same problem.
