Topic: Bluetooth Audio Receiver (Read 5725 times) previous topic - next topic

Hey guys,

I am new to the forum and I am new to Arduino. I have a Android ADK 2011 kit that uses Arduino Mega 2560. I want to create an audio receiver through bluetooth that I can connect to some speakers through AUX. A mobile phone would connect to this device through bluetooth and allow me to play music from my phone and hear music on the speakers connected.

I know I need to get bluetooth bee, but I'm no quite sure what kind to get. Also, I'm not sure what kind of piece to add to give AUX input/output. Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

I'm not exactly sure where the arduino comes into a thing like this, why not just get something like this: http://dx.com/p/rechargeable-bluetooth-v2-0-audio-receiver-with-mini-usb-3-5mm-jack-white-67570 and come up with a different project more suited for the Arduino?

Perhaps there are some details missing in your inquiry, though.
