Hey all! I'm new to standalone microcontrollers. I was just wondering if the Atmel AT89C2051-24PU can be programmed using Arduino as ISP? Thanks!

The protocol is different than the one used to program AVR processors.  You will have to implement the protocol yourself or find someone else who has.

You will have to provide 12V on the correct pin at the right time (from the datasheet)...

5. Raise RST to 12V to enable programming.

In the end, it is probably less expensive to just buy a dedicated programmer capable of programming an AT89C2051.
