Yeah, but are you really expecting to use cruise control at the slow speeds where that would be an issue?

On my bike, cruise control will not engage at less than 30 mph or over 88 mph. There are very good reasons for this.

88 mph == 140 kph. I presume that the programmers were not Americans.

Lag is lag. Reducing lag gives better response, better control, it's as simple as that.
How many times a second does the wheel turn at 60 mph? I get about 12.6 times on guess. Go run a sim at 13 fps and see where there might be problems.

been riding bikes for 45 years and not one of them did'nt have enough rear brake power to stall the engine....

I though of using a digital push bike speedo to give front wheel speed
