Hi all,

Today I want to introduce our new product - Motor Shield to you.

The Motor Shield is a platform for robotics and mechanical applications based on L298N. The biggest characteristic of this Motor Shield is it can measure the driver current via the two high power cement resistor(the two big white resistors in the picture).

It can be used to drive 2 DC motor or a 4-wire stepper. When controlling 2 DC motor, Only 4 control pins were needed, which makes this shield easier to control, and saves the control pins of controller. The Drive current can be up to 2A  output, also, the enlarged heat sink can help the chip work in good condition. with the current measurement, it can makes your control system more smart.

Going to need really long headers to stack a shield on top of that. Nice sized heat shield.

Very nice.   Pretty much what I am looking for to control one stepper motor without wasting more pins on unused motor capability.  Where can I buy one?

One request is that you include top header blocks to keep the unused I/O pins available.  It would be a pain to have to solder up a prototype shield board to go between the main board and the motor shield when a simple connector for a couple pins would do for a sensor or output.

Thanks.

Nice to see you make all the drawings avalible including a schematic ( http://www.elecrow.com/wiki/images/1/12/Motor_Shield_v1.01.pdf )
I wish more of the Asian sellers would do as well as you have done.

Hi,

Thanks for your kindly suggestion. Consider to use the connector than have both female and male header in the next batch...

Besides, you can go to here to buy the Motor shield directly.

Best Regards
