Anyone ever see this guys work before?
I had the good fortune to see his piece Exploded View Birds in a gallery recently .
http://www.jimcampbell.tv/portfolio/low_resolution_works/exploded_view/exploded_view_birds/
Basically he takes a lot of LEDS (it hard to estimate how many LEDs, maybe 300?) and makes low resolution "video" with it.
From a distance it really did look like birds flying at a low resolution.
If one wanted to think about copying this, what would be the best way to go about being able to control that many LEDs?
