Topic: Putting RN-XV WiFly into deep sleep - still using 0.4mA in sleep mode.. (Read 340 times) previous topic - next topic

I am building a temperature / light sensor using a combination of a Arduino Fio and a RN-XV WiFly.  My current focus is driving down the battery usage.  I can successfully put the RN-XV WiFly to sleep through either the sleep command or through one of the RTC based sleep options.  In both cases the module goes from drawing ~40mA to 0.4mA.  However, the data sheet suggests that it should go down to 4µA.  Has anyone been successful in dropping the usage of this module to the value on the datasheet?
