Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

Hi,

Having trouble with connecting my android phone to bluetooth module running from a duemila. I have managed to connect to the module with terminal and change the name, pin and baud rate. Should the module show up on my phone when just attached to 3.3v and gnd?

Bought the cheap bluetooth module from deal exteme http://dx.com/p/wireless-bluetooth-rs232-ttl-transceiver-module-80711. tried to follow the instructions on http://www.instructables.com/id/Cheap-2-Way-Bluetooth-Connection-Between-Arduino-a/.

regards,

If the light on the bluetooth is active, your phone should see it. You don't have to actually do anything at the Arduino end. I understand BlueTerm is the most useful Android app.
