I have a SainSmart 3.2 tft screen that does nothing but light up. I have asked on here and other places but every I have tried does not work. So I am wondering if its broke. Note: Its brand new.

It could be an incompatible library.

Are you the poster that fixed his display to see it's back? If so the backlight ribbon cable is clearly broken. unless you are Very good with a soldering iron, I don't mean just solder I mean skilled with applying heat precisely and the right amount. You'ld do well to buy another one.

if it can be light up means it's well.
download the example code from http://www.sainsmart.com/wiki/index.php/SainSmart_3.2%22_TFT_LCD_Display
then upload them to see if it works or not.
