I got as far as finding the folder it was in, started the process to install it, computer had found the driver for my uno rev3, and said there was an error.
"The third party INF does not contain digital signature information"
Therefore, it will not install. I have IDE version 1.0.3, and just realized that my computer was not recognizing my board. My current OS is windows 8.

Try this:

Hold the shift key while clicking on Restart
Select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart

After Restart select option 7.

Install driver

Or you can use the signed drivers that the Arduino team has created to be included in the next version of the IDE:
