Since the "Arduino GSM Shield (antenna connector)" is no longer in stock for some time now, I am looking to buy other compatible GPRS shields.

What other GPRS/GSM shield do you recommend for use with Arduino Uno v3?

I intend to use the shield for internet connection via GPRS with the possibility for connecting an external antenna.

Arduino GSM Shield (antenna connector) is not longer available ?
I 've found it from a distributor and it is still available.

Can you provide a link?

This is the response I got from the Arduino Team:

Although not an Arduino shield the Mikro Elektronica GSM2 click module uses the Quectel M95 chip which is compatible with the Arduino GSM library for the Quectel M10.

I use a purpose designed PCB to connect the Arduino to the GSM2 click module which needs to be set to +5V mode to work with the Arduino Mega2560 or UNO R3. The module is about half the price of the Arduino GSM card and comes with antenna connector as standard.
