Is it possible to use 3.3V signal when recieving a TTL signal? At what voltage does it interpret the pin as being high?

The reason I ask is I want to connect the DOUT pin of an XBee directly to the RX pin of an arduino that is connected to a computer. I have the XBee powered properly, however I don't have a 3.3v to 5v converter on hand for the communication, and will not be transmitting anything back to the XBee. Will this be a problem?

At what voltage does it interpret the pin as being high?

Acording to the data sheet it is 0.6 of the supply voltage of a logic one and 0.3 of the supply for a logic zero.

So if you have a 5V arduino that will be 3V and above for a high and 1.5V or below for a low.

So you should be OK.
