hey i wanted to know, what type of cameras can be interfaced with due and is it possible to manipulate the resolution of the connected camera?

Something like http://adafruit.com/products/397 might work but the Adafruit library is only Uno compatible, you'd have to try to write software for it yourself.

Well that is not attaching a camera to an arduino is it. It is attaching an Arduino to an image capture system. The two are not the same thing.
While I have seen that page before I haven't come across anyone who has managed to buy one.
