Maybe its time to think of an arduino PC on a single board, much like the Raspberry Pi.

What are you after? Slow personal computer, for what? How would you like it to be different from existing platforms?

dude. I think turning Arduino in a standalone PC is completely the wrong way to go. I am simply trying to find out what OP wants in order to point him to a more suitable platform (as you are probably doing as well)
