Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

I felt the need to pull myself out of endless of sagging and sagging TV serials. I am lurking online for some new hobbies. I found Arduino interesting and there were huge online resources with plenty of tutorials, examples, and forums and there had been a large number of people who are engaging in this kind of stuff.

Since I am new to Arduino, I don't want to spend too much money on it so I did some reading around and found (link to company selling counterfeit Arduino products removed) is selling pretty good starter kits. (link to company selling counterfeit Arduino products removed) seems to get decent review on youtube. I don't expect amazing quality, just hoping to get me into it.

Was wondering if anyone here has used (removed) boards and what they thought of it.

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, however in practice there are many...

I see quite some questions w.r.t. to (removed) on this forum, both HW & SW running on it.
that can mean several things or nothing, read the threads and draw your conclusions.

It is not my supplier never have bought from them, so I do not know their service level. (money is only a part of the price smiley-wink

I stick with the genuine Arduino boards, never had a problem with them so far, through a local supplier (with excellent service).

I like the saying, you get what you paid for.
I used their relays in my project very often and don't have much trouble with them.
Apart from (removed), I also go to other vendors. (link to company selling counterfeit Arduino products removed)

Consider buying the (reference to company selling counterfeit Arduino products removed) package to tinker around with. It's not the best quality, but an amazing price for a starter set.

They seem to have too many options of Arduino bundle packs with each kind of lcd module. Which package are you referring to?

I've found an unboxing review in French. I asked my friends to translate it for me. They said this is their first kit that they bought to start their project and they are satisfied with it.

Hope it can be helpful.

(link to company selling counterfeit Arduino products removed) It uses a SSD1289 controller and it's 16-bit interface. It requires an adapter shield for a Mega. I am working on changing the display to 8 bit.

I'm after a small CPU/display combo and most kits are more expensive than these.

Just curious how they made it.

What happened to the links? I don't think they're counterfeit, as Arduino is totally open.

The Arduino hardware designs are most certainly open source.  The Arduino logo is not.

The company in question is selling a board that is presented as an authentic Arduino product.  In other words, the company is lying.  That is not acceptable.

Which board is a counterfeit?

Find it yourself.  I've wasted enough of my life dealing with them.
