Hello, I'm a student and trying to figure out how to use an arduino board to make a breathalyzer. The part I'm stuck on is not the alcohol reader (I'm using an MQ-3), but rather the air flow sensor. I need to ensure a constant flow is kept for 5 seconds. I've been searching the web but couldn't come up with much. Any help or suggestions for a component and programming would be greatly appreciated!

The easy way to detect air flow, is to install temperature sensor and and warm resistor in close proximity. Passing air  would create a cooling effect, dropping reported temperature. Practical realization and coding for you
