Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

I'm trying to transfer and receive data on 2  Arduino Uno devices.  The master sends a byte of data to light one of 7 LEDs on the slave at address of 0x60.  The slave sends back the status of 7 switch positions (unrelated to the LED lines) on the slave's IO lines in the form of a byte to the master.  I would like to view the byte representing the switch positions on the serial monitor for the master - confirming that it was received and processed. I've been able to run sketches that transmit data or receive data, as soon as I move to both, I get a series of errors.

Does anyone have some sketches to perform the transmit and receive functions with I2C?  Please advise, thank you, Jerry

I advised you in your other thread to post the code and errors.
